(lol "Hi The Ninja!" looks so funny sometimes i wish that were actually my name sigh.)
I went with the missus to Ichiban TGV to have some ice-cream (their green-tea is pretty sweet stuff) and ended up having to get a whole meal. So that was rather lame.
@Yuki: do what I'm doing. Ninja-stalking. Heh heh.

Hi Simon!

(lol “Hi The Ninja!” looks so funny sometimes i wish that were actually my name sigh.)

I went with the missus to Ichiban TGV to have some ice-cream (their green-tea is pretty sweet stuff) and ended up having to get a whole meal. Commenting on other ppls blogs so that they get to know that you're out there. Twitter and/or Facebook is another. Once ppl get to know you, meeting up is just bound to happen. Whether it be PR type things e.g. Truffle Fest in Canberra, some Sydney bloggers are ex-Canberrans etc. Once you get involved, it's really just a matter of time :)
Hi The Ninja! I've never had an issue getting a seat at Bondi Junction, though the store is about half the size of the city one. I would argue that the ramen is better there too but that's just a personal observation. I tend to go to lunch late (at least after 1pm) so your experience there may be different to mine.
The minimum order thing, though doesn't sound welcoming, it's not something I take issue with as the cheapest bowl of ramen is $8.50 anyways. I do see your point however.
Never been to Tonton before. It's on my to-try list though :)

Hi Yuki! Well, there are a number of ways, some of which you’re already doing. I also never liked the $8-minimum-order thing. Especially when I was informed about this with a finger stabbed at the tiny disclaimer of the menu. Much prefer Tonton for my ramen cravings : )

What are the crowds like at the Bondi outlet? The camera I use is the Canon 500D with an 50mm f/1.4 prime lens.
The 50mm lens are quite popular for food photos and are reasonably priced, depending on what you go for. I've seen some people go with the 35mm lens as well.
Hi Katherine! As with the suggestion by Yas, have you tried the miso based ramen with butter? Something I'm going to be trying the next time I go for ramen.
Hi Lorraine! The ramen is good. I'd say that Ryo's has it with texture though. However, I find their soups somewhat on the salty side. Also, Ichiban is more readily available, at least with the places that I tend to be around.
Hi Iron Chef Shellie! Hope you're able to get around to some! :)
Know of any good ramen places in Melbourne?
Hi Maria! I'm a big fan of ramen myself so I couldn't agree more! :)

Hi Yuki! Thanks for the suggestion of Flute.
