Hi Kate! Through the entire archive? Thanks for taking the time to do so. Glad you loved it :)
Hi The Ninja! Though I guess it means something to be in the company of such men (even in the context of royalties gone amiss) I'll have to do something about that Guy Ritchie fellow. He's the only one that could collect on the royalties...
Thanks for the advice :)
Hi Tina! That's good to hear. Unfortunately, that wasn't the feeling that I had the night of the event.
Squid was great. Tuna & grilled rice was too. Would certainly go back for those :)

Hi chocolatesuze! Glad you found that funny. Squid was definitely crave-worthy.

Ha ha, great post. I went recently and glam as it was, it wasn’t quite so exclusive – thankfully. Keep fighting the good fight, and if you're feeling out of place just blend with the shadows and sharpen your blades.

And you, good Sir, make Raymond Chandler turn in his grave with fear for his posthumous royalties. Grilled rice was one of the better canapes on offer that night.
Hi Helen! Use 'em and lose 'em? I have no idea what you're talking about :)
Hi Simon! Thanks dude.
Hi Belle! Sorry to hear it. As much as this was played up to fit the genre/images that I was trying to portray, I did feel somewhat out of place and certainly underdressed for the occasion.
Hi Trissa! Thanks! Glad to see some of that came through in the end :)
Hi Paulina! I hope that line generates the same sort of comment that I received when you decide to use it :)
I wouldn't quite say that it was cause of the fashionistas and glamazons, as you put it. However, it seems like the kind of place geared to more classier clientele that I don't really see myself being a part of. Well, perhaps as one of the pretenders I made reference to. Maybe :)
Hi Y! Thanks! Angus beef on a fast food franchise burger' - will definitely use that one day! Doesn't sound like fashionistas and glamazons make great company. At least there was lots of great looking canapes - now we're talking. Hmmmmm..

Loved the line ‘I felt immediately out of place.
